About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and talented intern with a strong background in CAD software and engineering principles to join our innovative team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in design, prototyping, and experimentation, contributing to cutting-edge research and development in battery cooling technologies. Key Responsibilities: Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Onshape, Inventor, CREO) to create, modify, and analyze designs. Conduct simulations and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate and optimize designs. Procure materials and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of components. Assist in prototyping and assembling experimental setups for projects. Collaborate on the design and execution of experiments, focusing on expanded graphite and paraffin composite materials for passive cooling of batteries. Maintain meticulous documentation of design processes, experiments, and results. Communicate effectively with team members and vendors, ensuring smooth workflows. Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Onshape, Inventor, or CREO. Basic knowledge of simulation tools and FEA techniques. Strong organizational and time-management skills. A keen interest in experimental research and problem-solving. Patience, attention to detail, and a work-oriented mindset.
